The movie starts from a very poor background where the protagonist, Guddu, lives with his parents. His parents have been married for years without any children. Then one day they found that they were going to have a child and as time passed by they grew to see their child as a blessing from god rather than being forced on them due to circumstance. But there is something about Guddu’s birth which makes him different from all other children in the neighbourhood which not even his parents can figure out what it is. Guddu grows up in no time at all and he goes to school like any other child. There he befriends the daughter of the postmaster, Lajjo. Soon they start spending more time together than with their respective family members. They are even ready to sacrifice their own family at times for each other which makes them feel that they are made for each other. But Guddu’s mother doesn’t think so at all. One day she finds out that Lajjo’s father is not only unemployed but he was also born out of an illegitimate affair between his mother and someone else which makes him illegitimate as well……..…….. ! He goes to Jangladesh and finds Purab and Chotima only to find that they are involved in a scandal with some woman. Lajjo, Purab and Chotima leave for London, while Guddu follows them.
